This video was filmed at the begining of February. Winter had been incredibly wet and stormy. Our garden and the surrounding land permenantly waterlogged. As I write this in June of the same year the weather has improved marginally. It continues to be wet, windy and on the cool side. Compared to the last few years of unbearable heat and drought it is a complete contrast. The shifting tides of the year are in upheaval reminding me of the upheaval I see in the world. We suffered major losses of plants due to the wetness and it was and is a struggle to do the things we require outside. Nevertheless we persistently keep chipping away at building our hopes and dreams for the future.

The video was shot in and around our garden depicting how difficult it had been. Trying to do anything would have created more damage than just waiting for the water to recede. Patience can be a difficult thing.

The song is called waiting on the rain. It was chosen for the words and their meaning. It struck me how rain is so cleansing and how it can wash away so many things. Be it from our energetic field or life in general. It reflects not just for the struggle the Earth and her creatures must have been living through but also the time of upheavel and change our human world faces.

Writing this now, maybe the winter rains were cleansing. Or was it possibly the Earth trying to get our attention to make Humans wake up and change our ways.
